Health and Social Care Practice

The health and social care sector is subject to unique pressures and expectations not least of which is the ever changing public policy landscape. The ability to rapidly bring together relevant evidence including the views of key stakeholder groups can provide a valuable platform to deliver service improvements.

The Modus Health and Social Care Practice is focussed on supporting commissioning and delivery organisations to meet immediate needs be that a public consultation exercise, a service review or support for a broader strategic service planning exercise.

Health and Social Care Services

We can develop a cost effective solution to your immediate needs with the following providing just some examples of the work that we currently undertake.

Health Policy and Planning
The Modus Health and Social Care Practice is able to draw upon more than two decades of experience of providing support in the areas of health policy, health data, finance and business planning. We are comfortable working in a range of acute and community settings, with experience of diagnostics, medicine and surgery as well as service areas that range from diabetes, oncology, mental health, maternity, older peoples services, and learning disabilities.

Evidence and Data Reviews
Whether you require a rapid evidence assessment within a particular service area or need to better understand existing health and social care data, the Modus Team will be pleased to discuss how best we can support you.

Engagement and Facilitation
The Modus Team is experienced in working with Boards, management and clinical teams as well as externally with local authorities and other stakeholder groups. We are able to undertake formal and informal engagement and facilitation projects covering all major health and social care service areas.

Equalities
Drawing upon experience of having previously been Chair of the NHS Race Equality Group and a Board Member on the Race for Health Group the Modus Health and Social Care practice has significant experience of working on issues relating to race, gender and disabilities. We would be happy to discuss with you service offers that range from Board training programmes to individual service reviews.
